Aeroflot A330 limped 800 nm with engine out

An Aeroflot Airbus A330-200 from Los Angeles to Moscow lost one engine shortly after entering Finnish airspace. Despite suitable airports in the vicinity, the flight continued 800 nm to Moscow SVO and landed safely.
The aircraft reportedly drifted down to FL250 and an unscheduled landing was initially planned in the regional airport and air force base of Kuopio, Finland. The flight, however, elected to continue for a safe landing at its original destination 2 hrs 10 mins later.
