FlyA new low-cost on Transat flights

Baboo founder Julian Cook looks at A330 LCC ops across the Atlantic.

FlyA, a venture set up in Ireland or Luxemburg is planning to start flights across the Atlantic to US East Coast destinations. Equipment is planned to be A330’s and prices would start from €69, says founder Julian Cook. The airline still negotiates for a low-tax base, and is looking to grow its fleet to 10 aircraft.

“FlyA was originally going to be UK-based, flying to destinations in India and Pakistan, but this plan has changed. Now there are three possible countries where FlyA could be located and the airline will launch with transatlantic operations to the US East Coast”; quote from ATW Online’s story.
